Growing A Blog Takes Work

To easily receive updates on new articles subscribe to Home Business Success today.

Doing certain things the same way everyday will increase your Page Rank in Google, if that's what you're after. Commenting on other relevant blogs is a sure way to build relationships and back links. My goal for '09 is to spend more time commenting, and reading relevant blogs.

When comments are left on your blog, reply as soon as you can. Readers like a responsive blogger, and it lets them know that someone is reading their opinions.

Much of my traffic (86%) was from referral according to my analytics report. That's great! Word of mouth is the best form of advertising one can receive. It's like planting seeds in the spring, if you plant the seeds, tend to them, then they will blossom. That's how relationships grow online, and they take time.

Keeping your focus within your blog posts helps a lot too. When the search spiders crawl through your blog, they are looking for references to the keywords you have chosen as well as references to your description of your blog. Staying on topic makes the reader feel engaged as if you are really addressing their concerns. Remaining topic focused creates credibility in the eyes of the search engines.

Connect with other bloggers - reach out to them and offer to guest post. Guest posting is a great way to cross pollinate each others' traffic.

I discovered that by focusing on one or two social networks will get you traffic, sticky traffic. Concentrate on one or two of the major social networks like Twitter or StumbleUpon and use this traffic as a behavioral traffic magnet. Traffic that is attracted to your blog because the reader has something in common with your information.

I remained true to all of these things from August 26, 2008 until December 31, 2008, I earned a PR2, have 986 inbound backlinks, and an Alexa ranking of 325,000+. My technorati is a 10 and I have been faved in Blog Carnival of Making Money Online several times.

Remaining consistent and determined will get you to the finish line. Now, I'm going to double my efforts using the same strategy. We'll look back at this blog's health in March, the month of my birthday.

The good thing about doing these things, is if you just repeat the process that is already successful, then you can be successful as well. All you have to do is follow instructions and give it time to work.

Make Money Online Blogging In Four Months

To easily receive updates on new articles subscribe to Home Business Success today.

Right now I'm on extended holiday vacation because I am in between computers. See, when I moved into my own house, I left the luxury of working on my sister's computer. Now, because I am getting used to my house, and adopting lazy work ethics, I only drive over to my sisters' when I get a chance. However, next week this will all be a memory. As I will purchase either a new desktop or a new laptop.

In the meantime...

Happy New Year!! Yeah, I know I'm late, but if you are a fellow blogger reading this, then a New Year means excitement for opportunity. It just seems that all of the things I began blogging about is becoming a reality. Let me share some things with you.

This blog is about ways to make money online and the methods I have used that have brought me success. In addition, this blog is about getting traffic to a brand new blog quickly and then making money from that newly gained traffic. I started this blog in August, 2008 and began chronicling my journey to credibility. I knew it wasn't going to be quick, but I was willing to try the things that knowledgeble bloggers were teaching me.

Doing things like leaving comments on like-minded blogs has helped me gain a reputable 986 inbound links (according to Yahoo.com). These inbound links help grow credibility and page rank (if PR is your goal.) It also means that I am probably leaving substantive comments on other blogs.

Whenever I post a new article, I let a couple of friends (not all) on StumbleUpon (SU) know. The two friends I picked have good SU reputations, and have lots of very active SU friends. It doesn't do any good to have SU friends who don't do anything to help you. The last time I checked my analytics, SU was a solid referrer of new and repeat traffic. Responsible for 84% of my traffic, SU gives HBS blog a 1-2 punch; 1-for traffic, and 2-for reputation all in one.

A couple of other places I submit blog posts to is Twitter, Blog Catalog Facebook. In the form of tweets, broadcasts and status updates, I let my friends know on these social networks when I have a new blog post. I just started doing that consistently a couple of days ago, and have yet to see any results.

The point of this post is that, in four short months I grew to a PR2, 325,026 Alexa ranking and I work 100% from home full time living off Affiliate Marketing commissions.

My top three CPA Networks are:

  • Hydra--

  • Join Hydra Network Today!

  • Market Leverage--

  • Incentaclick--

They keep me at home and making money online. They're free to join and you get paid per action. The amount of traffic your blog or website generates will result in the amount of money you make. It's all relative.

These aren't the only CPA networks out there, there are probably thousands. Here is a short list of high integrity, converting CPA networks.

This is just a short list of some of the available CPA networks you can join to make money from your blog online. I'm done working for the day, think I'll check out an after holiday sale. Chat with you later, and sign up for some of these networks and start making some real money online.

Free Blog Home Income Tricks

To easily receive updates on new articles subscribe to Home Business Success today.

For the past year I've been trying to discover some free blog home income tricks. You know the kind, the ones that will show me how to increase my blog traffic, thereby generate revenue.

Well because it took me six months to get it through my thick head that if I did the same things over and over successfully, then yes I would be able to generate an income from my blog.

Doing things like commenting on good blog posts, you make friends this way. Keep in mind, that just because you leave a comment for someone, doesn't obligate them to leave a comment for you. You should comment because you have something to offer to the conversation. Not because you expect one back.

Utilizing StumbleUpon by stumbling and checking out friends' sites. Many times friends on StumbleUpon will share sites that I've never seen before and are unique. Just letting your friends know this also creates friendships.

As you can see, the more friends you have, your popularity will increase. And quite frankly, popularity on the internet is what will bring traffic and income. These are free tricks that can put you on the path to blog incomes.

If you haven't added Google Custom Search to your blog, then you're missing out on income from your Adsense account. Keep in mind people are on the internet for information, and your blog should be an additional portal for that.
