My Accounts Are Wired Shut Like Ann Coulter's Jaw

All my affiliate networks accounts plus two email accounts were hacked into today. I found out by chance when I went to logon to my affiliate accounts and discovered that my passwords and login no longer worked. I believe it was a combination of things: my using the Firefox feature that enables the browser to save my logon information and carelessness on my part.

It began this morning when I did my normal routine, check my emails, then check my affiliate accounts to check my balances. I should have been tipped off by the hacker because yesterday someone had gained access into my IncentReward account and changed the method of payment. I changed it back, alerted my affiliate manager and changed the password.

What I should have done was change my username as well, because apparently this slickster had also gained access to my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts and changed the passwords in those, effectively locking me out of my own email accounts!

I never thought this would happen to me. I feel violated and unsafe. My affiliate manager of one of my affiliate programs told me that the offending culprit has an IP address that is coming from Irvine, California. Although that may be rerouted and could be coming from China for all I know. At this time, I no longer have access to my instant messenger accounts nor my email accounts.

Never one to panic, I simply spent the majority of the day on the phone with affiliate managers making sure this doesn't happen again. One thing I won't do again is to store any of my password or login information to anything online again. I have thumb drives, flash drives etc., that can serve this purpose securely. From now on I will use them for more than photos and documents.

The worse thing out of this is my email accounts and not being able to access them. Outside of it being an inconvenience of course, it is minor compared to the damage the hacker could have caused. Imagine if I had not of checked my affiliate accounts this morning and this went on for days? Suppose someone had managed to get ahold of my commissions without my knowledge? A scary thought, no doubt.

As a precaution I consulted my youngest brother, who is an IT Tech, and he advised me of some safety features to add. Because as he advised me, if someone has attached a Bot to my every keystroke, then no matter how many times I change my passwords and login information, the culprits will know it, and have it as soon as I make the changes. So, as a result, I've followed his advice, protected myself and my commissions.

This isn't a post I looked forward to writing, but one that may help the next person. Have you checked your affiliate programs lately? How safe are your online activities?

Many sites would not wait until hell freezes over just to see their profits. While there are some who takes things lightly there are always those who would rather see profit any given day.

It is common knowledge that without traffic we have no business. Like any business, without any customers you don’t get sales. Traffic represents all the people that gets a chance to see what you have to offer. The more people who see your products the more people there would be to buy them.

Nobody puts up an E-commerce site that doesn’t expect profit. We have a startup capital that needs to be regained. With a consistent traffic, we at least have a fighting chance to achieve that probability. Monetizing your traffic would optimize your chances of making the best out of it.

Making Money out of your Traffic

The best and most proven method of making a profit out of your traffic is using advertising. The internet generates hundreds of thousands upon hundred of thousands of traffic everyday. Most of them are searching for something. While some are just looking for information there is also a good percentage that is looking for something that they need.

The internet has proven to be a very reliable source in finding what was deemed to be a very unsearchable product. The internet has made the world a smaller place; you can advertise a product from the depths of Istanbul and still find a buyer from the center of Philadelphia.

Generating traffic is not an easy task. You have to contend with a great number of sites to generate a good number of traffic flow. But if done successfully this could open up a Pandora’s Box of possibilities. One of the benefits is monetizing your traffic flow.

This scheme is called “pay-per-click”. With every click a visitor of your site makes on an advertised link you will be paid. The more traffic you generate and the more clicks that happens would spell to more profits.

Affiliate Programs

Another method of monetizing your traffic are affiliate programs. You can link up with other tried and tested sites and online companies and monetize your traffic by having a percentage of sales generated by traffic coming from your site.

The basic idea is, traffic generated from your site will go to another site that can offer a product that you do not carry. Many programs can keep track and make records of transactions that was made possible because of site linkage.

When purchases are made by customers that was led by your site to their site you get a percentage of that sale. Affiliate programs would give you the benefit of monetizing your traffic without the actual need of carrying or promoting a certain product.

There are so many ways and methods to monetize your traffic. All it takes is a bit of hard work and the desire to successfully launch a profit-earning site. The internet is a veritable source of information, many tips and guides are offered everywhere in how to monetize your traffic and make your site a good profit earner.

HydraNetwork and NeverBlue: Two Affiliate Programs That Pay

To easily receive updates on new articles subscribe to Home Business Success today.

Today's home business success tip:

If you are looking for an affiliate program that has great creatives, and a solid reputation, then I have two for you.

Recently, I joined NeverBlueAds and HydraNetwork programs. If you don't know what Market Leverage is or Pepperjam, then you already know where I'm going with this.

Although both Market Leverage and Pepperjam have paid me decent commission checks, I've found financial nirvana with NeverBlue and Hydra. The particular programs I'm running are leading to healthy affiliate payments.

Here's the major difference between Hydra and NeverBlue:

NeverBlue pays 2% referral fees--so for everyone you refer, you earn 2% off their earnings each month. That's great once you get a lot of referrals.

However, Hydra pays 5%. The extra 3% will go a long way.

But, I get pretty excited when I check my commission earnings--I won't post the amounts here, but trust me, if you can get an account with either of these two companies, you won't have to worry about Wall Street or any bill collector calling you again.

Top 3 Ways To Boost Your Affiliate Commissions Overnight

VALUABLE FREE DOWNLOAD AFFILIATE MARKETING SUCCESS ROAD MAP!

The ideal world of affiliate marketing does not require having your won website, dealing with customers, refunds, product development and maintenance. This is one of the easiest ways of launching into an online business and earning more profits.

Assuming you are already into an affiliate program, what would be the next thing you would want to do? Double, or even triple, your commissions, right? How do you do that?

Here are some powerful tips on how to boost your affiliate program commissions overnight.

1. Know the best program and products to promote. Obviously, you would want to promote a program that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors to consider in selecting such a program. Choose the ones that have a generous commission structure. Have products that fit in with your target audience. And that has a solid track record of paying their affiliate easily and on time. If you cannot seem to increase your investments, dump that program and keep looking for better ones.

There are thousands of affiliate programs online which gives you the reason to be picky. You may want to select the best to avoid losing your advertising dollars.

Write free reports or short ebooks to distribute from your site. There is a great possibility that you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. If you start writing short report related to the product you are promoting, you will be able to distinguish yourself from the other affiliates.

In the reports, provide some valuable information for free. If possible, add some recommendations about the products. With ebooks, you get credibility. Customers will see that in you and they will be enticed to try out what you are offering.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. It is a known fact that people do not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may want to send out your message more than six times to make a sale.

This is the simple reason why you should collect the contact information of those who downloaded your reports and ebooks. You can make follow-ups on these contacts to remind them to make a purchase from you.

Get the contact information of a prospect before sending them to the vendor’s website. Keep in mind that you are providing free advertisement for the product owners. You get paid only when you make a sale. If you send prospects directly to the vendors, chances are they would be lost to you forever.

But when you get their names, you can always send other marketing messages to them to be able to earn an ongoing commission instead of a one-time sale only.

Publish an online newsletter or Ezine. It is always best to recommend a product to someone you know than to sell to a stranger. This is the purpose behind publishing your own newsletter. This also allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

This strategy is a delicate balance between providing useful information with a sales pitch. If you continue to write informative editorials you will be able to build a sense of reciprocity in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask for higher than normal commission from merchants. If you are already successful with a particular promotion, you should try and approach the merchant and negotiate a percentage commission for your sales.

If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose a valuable asset in you. Keep in mind that you are a zero-risk investment to your merchant; so do not be shy about requesting for addition in your commissions. Just try to be reasonable about it.

Write strong pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and Overture. Then you should try and monitor them to see which ads are more effective and which ones to dispose of.

Try out these strategies and see the difference it can make to your commission checks in the shortest of time.

Here's How To Avoid The 3 Most Common Affiliate Mistakes

DOWNLOAD YOUR FREE COPY OF AFFILIATE MASTERS COURSE BY KEN EVOY OF SITESELL HERE!

Affiliate marketing is one of the most effective and powerful ways of earning some money online. This program gives everybody a chance to make a profit through the Internet. Since these affiliate marketing programs are easy to join, implement and pays a commission on a regular basis, more and more people are now willing in this business.

However, like all businesses, there are lots of pitfalls in the affiliate marketing business. Committing some of the most common mistakes will cost the marketers a large portion taken from the profits they are making everyday. That is why it is better to avoid them than be regretful in the end.

Mistake number 1: Choosing the wrong affiliate.

Many people want to earn from affiliate marketing as fast as possible. In their rush to be part of one, they tend to choose a bandwagon product. This is the kind of products that the program thinks is “hot”. They choose the product that is in demand without actually considering if the product appeals to them. This is not a very wise move obviously.

Instead of jumping on the bandwagon, try to choose a product in which you are truly interested in. For any endeavor to succeed, you should take some time to plan and figure out your actions.

Pick a product that appeals to you. Then do some research about that product to see if its in demand. Promoting a product you are more passionate about is easier than promoting one for the sake of the earnings only.

Mistake number 2: Joining too many affiliate programs.

Since affiliate programs are very easy to join, you might be tempted to join multiples of affiliate programs to try and maximize the earnings you will be getting. Besides you may think that there is nothing wrong and nothing to lose by being part of many affiliate programs.

True, that is a great way to have multiple sources of income. However, joining multiple programs and attempting to promote them all at the same time will prevent you from concentrating on each one of them.

The result? The maximum potential of your affiliate program is not realized and the income generated will not exactly be as huge as you were thinking it would initially be. The best way to get excellent result is by joining just one program that pays a 40% commission at least. Then give it your best effort by promoting your products enthusiastically. As soon as you see that it is already making a reasonable profit, then maybe you can now join another affiliate program.

The technique is to do it slowly but surely. There is really no need to rush into things, especially with affiliate marketing. With the way things are going, the future is looking real bright and it seems affiliate marketing will be staying for a long time too.

Mistake number 3: Not buying the product or using the service.

As an affiliate, you main purpose is to effectively and convincingly promote a product or service and to find customers. For you to achieve this purpose, you must be able to relay to the customers that certain product and service. It is therefore difficult for you to do this when you yourself have not tried these things out. Thus, you will fail to promote and recommend them convincingly. You will also fail to create a desire in your customers to avail any of what you are offering.

Try the product or service personally first before you sign up as an affiliate to see if it is really delivering what it promises. If you have done so, then you are one of the credible and living testaments aware of its advantages and disadvantages. Your customers will then feel the sincerity and truthfulness in you and this will trigger them to try them out for themselves.

Many affiliate marketers makes these mistakes and are paying dearly for their actions. To not fall into the same situation they have been in, try to do everything to avoid making the same mistakes.

Time is the key. Take the time to analyze your marketing strategy and check if youa re in the right track. If done properly, you will be able to maximize your affiliate marketing program and earn higher profits.

The Affiliate Masters Course offers the total solution. It will help you build a Web site that will pull in targeted traffic (in a way that the Search Engines love!) and that your visitors will find beneficial due to its solid-gold content.
