Joining social networks like Twitter, StumbleUpon and Social Browse can account for lots of 'sticky' traffic. 'Sticky' traffic is the kind that does not create huge bounce rates.

Another key point to remember is to reciprocate whatever comes your way as a blogger. By that I mean, if comments are left on your blog, return the favor by visiting that commenters' blog and leaving a comment. It's quid pro quo in a viral world.

Align yourself with ethical affiliate programs and networks.
