Simple Tricks To Get Website Traffic

Its so important that you drive traffic to your website. The more traffic you have, the more money you will make, its a given. But, knowing how to get traffic to your website and actually putting the task to practice is where the work comes in.

Website traffic is hard to get if you expect to just set up a blog and wait for the visitors to come. It doesn't happen that way. You, the blog owner, have to get out there and promote your blog. There are lots of ways to do it, so find one way to promote your website and stick to it.

The stick-to-it-ness is where most people fall off. I mean they quit, they give up. But, you have to be persistent. Doing the same thing over and over again can get boring. However, if you want to drive traffic to your website, you might as well strap up and get ready for the long haul.

Use social media like Twitter, Facebook and social media aggregator FriendFeed to establish a presence. But, instead of doing the norm on Twitter and Facebook, try putting a promotional, stand out from the crowd spin on your updates.

Share your love of music on Twitter using Blip.fm. Blip.fm interacts with Twitter and allows the free sharing of your music on Twitter. Your followers will click on the music you share and if you're lucky, they'll read your profile to find out more about you. This is where you shine. Make sure you create a profile that will lead back to your website. Get some website traffic that way.

If you like to take pictures and want to share your images on Twitter, you can use Twitpic or Flickr to post your image links as updates. Everybody likes looking at pictures and graphics on the internet, so promote your photos. And, oh, be honest, don't steal someone else's work and masquerade it as your own.

But, the all time easiest and fastest way to get website traffic is to leave comments on do follow blogs and websites. There is no better way, more proven to drive traffic and build your page rank than by commenting on relevant blogs. You get an invaluable link back from a relevant site, and you gain new readers. A win-win situation for your website traffic driven agenda.

Keep in mind, don't leave spam comments, that will get you banned from the site or more importantly, leaving spam comments will get the comment deleted.

This isn't a long post, I don't want to ramble, but if you don't want to use Twitter, or don't 'get it' then spend a couple of hours a day commenting on relevant blogs and watch your website traffic grow.

@Kuldeep: towards the end of this post, it reads, don't leave spam comments. This is what you have done, left a spam comment. A comment that has no relevance at all to the conversation, nor the post. This will get your comment deleted.
