Newbies are bound to make mistakes. From investing hundreds of dollars a month on a program that never works, to spending hours upon hours posting to non responsive safelists. We've all fell for that haven't we?

For me what works is finding my audience and give them what they are looking for. For instance, people who read this blog are home based business owners looking for information to help them market and promote their business.

Some of them will read this blog, others will bookmark it, subscribe in a reader and never come back to it. That's cool. It means my subscriber numbers go up, but your income won't--if you never read it.

Oh well.

TOP 10 BLUNDERS IN NETWORK MARKETING

1. Never join a networking organization
2. Join but never show up to any events or meetings
3. Show up late and leave early
4. Never bring any referrals
5. Put everybody to sleep in your 30 second commercial by talking for an hour
6. Treat referrals and the people who give you referrals disrespectfully
7. Never take time to meet other members outside regular events
8. Never bring a guest to the events or meetings
9. Never use other members’ services
10. Quit in a few weeks complaining networking does not work.
